Sorry to hear of your loss - and do keep up the good work on this site. I live at Kaukapakapa and so Helensville is our local shopping town, our kids attend Montessori there etc and I love that we have lots of smaller businesses operating (OK, some of the chain stores are necessary but where would we be without such places as Oikumene Forest timber yard and ITM yard; Fayes Place (best fish and chips) or the Pizza resturant and Indian take-away - all serving good foods etc. Then there's the great bakeries and the butcher/the Chainsaw repairer, the pubs, the vet, the bookstore and chemist - I'd better stop now or I'll end up mentioning everyone. So, keep at it - we are out here reading
